invalidation timeouts for DNS-Sharing with share interface?

Hello list,
Is there a timeout, so that a DNS information hold by a <share
interface>-handle gets invalidated (and gets resolved again after it)?
I have the strong felling there is one. If right, has someone experience
in determining and setting it?
