A couple of days ago I reported a similar problem under the subject
'Connection related memory leaks [Was: Calling sslctxfun when shutting down
an SSL connection]' (http://curl.haxx.se/mail/lib-2007-02/0137.html). I
provided a different patch (against the current cvs version), that (in my
scenario) solved the problem.

Although my original post went somehow unnoticed, I think this is a real
problem that requires a fix (either Hang Kin's or mine or a better one
altogether :) in the next curl release.
