Never use "shell=true". You want to specify the command to Popen as a list.
cmd=['curl', '-sS', '-A', 'Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1;
Trident/5.0; yie8)' , ......]
p = subprocess.Popen(cmd, stdout=subprocess.PIPE, stderr=subprocess.PIPE)
s_out, s_err = p.communicate()
