Dear all,

I am currently experiencing issues while trying to use php-curl http
authentication with a blank username, but with a set password.
My script is currently as follows:
    $url = "http://someurl";
    $ch = curl_init ($url);
    curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERPWD, ":myfavouritepassword");
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT, 10);
    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1);
    $out = curl_exec ($ch);
    curl_close ($ch);

Is there anything I can do to make curl authenticate with a blank
username and a password 'myfavouritepassword'.
Btw by stating 'blank username' I mean authenticating the way I do while
logging in using firefox, username field left blank and password filled
with my favourite password.
