libcurl SMTPS: application crashes on Windows if CURLOPT_ISSUERCERT was set

Hello,
Application crashes in curl_easy_perform() after curl_easy_setopt() has been called with CURLOPT_ISSUERCERT. This behavior is consistently reproduced on Windows and is not reproducible on UNIX platforms.
We use libcurl 7.21.0 built with OpenSSL 0.9.8. Please advise if this is a known issue.
