The issue is being discussed on the curl-users mailing list.

I plan to upload and provide builds with SSPI disabled for
win98 users.

i've just confirmed what i wroten in my precedent article

i have copied curl.exe in my USB key to test your curl.exe
on XP and it works well so the bug result is......
...... your compiler (not dirk paehl compiler) want to use
function "CompleteAuthToken" (do not ask me what and why i
only know BASIC and batch DOS programmation) but it is not
compatible
with WIN98SE

the easiest method to reproduce it is:
1) start
2) run
3) "e:\curl.exe" and enter :)

your generic compilation give this error when i execute
"curl.exe"
dirk compilation gives no error because software works well

see http://tinyurl.com/8q5t4 and you understand as me this
function is only available on XP or W2K ;)

Sorry, I still don't understand:

Can you please tell us what you try to do and what happens,
with greater detail.

Why do you say this is a compile or build problem?

And what is SECUR32.DLL and CompleteAuthToken?

I guess this just calls for me to stop providing the windows
versions myself since I know nothing about this sort of
things...

i give you a screenshot

when i launch curl , i can see this message

if i wrote this a compiler error it is maybe because you now
use a 2K/NT only function ?

dirk has just changed his link and i've just DL his version
his win32 version works well ;)

please write me now at seb_at_willemijns.com if you want i test
a new version ;)
