at first of all... thanks to Daniel for his fantastic support !

I have played the whole evenig around to get curl and php for https pages to
work.

And I have found another way to put it working; after reading
http://curl.haxx.se/mail/curlphp-2002-01/0003.html
(thanks Daniel :-) I have downloaded the new curl.c and copied it to
ext/curl of the php-4.1.2 source tree.

After compiling (no changes in the configuration file, as suggested at
another place) everything
is working fine now !
