Another option could be using the multi-engine as a dispatch (pardon
mistakes, i hope the gist is clear) -

curlm_setopt(m,CURLMOPT_EASYITER_DATA, (void*)userdat);
curlm_setopt(m, CURLMOPT_EASYITER_FUNC, my_iter);
curlm_easy_iter(m);
