Whith distributed ftp the PRET command is requested.

Most of ftp client have it now.

You can't "expect it" at all. I don't know anyone working on it. The TODO
lists things we *could* do, in no particular order.

happy to see this request in the top of FTP todo list...
More FTPD are coming with this implementation, more ftp clients too.
When could we expect this feature ?

I find very little use for this command and I personally consider it a bad
design in the first place. But sure, we can have the idea here in the
tracker.
